Cagayan de Oro City and Misamis Oriental has sufficient supply of vehicles. Several firms provide rent-a-car services. They also operate taxi cabs, public utility jeepneys and engage in trucking and hauling.

The number of registered vehicles have been rising for the past five years, according to the Land Transportation Office. The increase is due to high demand and growing affluence of residents

Webmaster's comment Cagayan de Oro is famous for having several fleets of air-conditioned Toyota Altis cars used as taxis. Larger cities such as Manila, Cebu and Davao have less sporty vehicles for public transportation.
